Cathal Courtney - Company Manager

Cathal joined Ouroboros as Company Manager in spring 2008 as the European tour of Making History was drawing to a close. Since then he has overseen the 2008 summer tour of Brian Friel’s Translations and managed the pre-production stages of The Death of Harry Leon. Over the last fifteen years he has written for a variety of journals and publications and penned three plays one of which, Mad About the King, was presented by Theatre Metropole to its Parisian audience in February 2007. In 2004 he revived the Richard Price Memorial Lecture in London in honour of the 18th century Radical who provoked Edmund Burke’s attack on the French Revolution. He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
